读后续写解题指导与评分标准
(一)原文故事回顾:
这是一位年轻教师帮助和引导劣势儿童健康成长的故事。“我”所教班级有一位无父无母,与有精神障碍的祖母生活的孩子Mike。“我”一直关心帮助近乎是流浪儿的Mike的生活和学习。当得知Mike的理想是做一个土匪强盗时,“我”决定用“我”的方式帮助Mike理解和追求真正的理想。“我”每周六送Mike去法律图书馆,使他通过学习法律知识,正确理解善恶,树立正能量的理想。
(二)续写线索分析:
故事中的老师“我”,除了资助Mike每天的生活,还送Mike去法律图书馆学习法律,引导他正确地理解自己的理想。在与Mike失去联系多年后的一天,“我”在电话号码簿上看到Mike的名字及身份,“我”的内心希望这个Mike就是我曾经的学生Mike。 但同名同姓者甚多,这个Mike是不是我的学生呢?续写从这里开始。根据续写两段所给的首句推测,故事的结尾应该是原本可能会走上歧途的Mike在老师正确引导下,明白了自己内心真正的梦想,并通过自己的努力,改变人生,实现了理想,成长为伸张正义的法官(或律师)。
(三)第一段续写思路:
第一段的首句 I wondered, “Could it be him?” 提示可以写“我”心中的揣测:大千世界茫茫人海,同名同姓者甚多,这个大法官(大律师)Mike是我学生吗?也可以写“我“思忖无果后决定拨通号码簿上Mike的电话去验证。第二段首句已提示此Mike正是“我”的学生, 因此接下来可以写两人在电话中互相确认身份、电话中重逢的惊喜和激动。第一段允许有对话,但不要完全写成由直接引语组成的对话段落,要有一定量的语言去描写场景或人物的心情。

I wondered, “Could it be him?” I dialed the number, gave my full name to a secretary and was put on hold. A long fifteen seconds later, a gentleman was on the line. His opening statement was, “Mr. Kowal (or whatever), I’ve really … missed you.” Then there was silence. Tears welling up in my eyes, I blurted out between sobs, “Mike, I only wish I’d kept in touch with you all these years. I’m really proud of you.” In a trembling voice on the other side, Mike answered, “I wouldn’t be here now if it weren’t for you.”
When we were able to get together, he told me his road to the law. 二、课中目标预设:
